Art Bell began his title career in 1953. Art was promoted to Chief Title Officer in 1974 and moved to First American Title's residential group in 1979. Art's responsibilities were primarily underwriting high risk transactions in Contra Costa and Solano Counties. In 1993 Art joined our commercial group and was immediately given national underwriter status which has helped to develop one of the Bay Area's largest pre-eminent escrow and title firms.
