Gary Houser
Commercial Escrow Officer
Gary began his career in the title insurance industry in August 1972 after earning his Bachelor of Arts degree in History the previous June. He accepted a job offer with Transamerica Title Insurance Company in Los Angeles managing three escrow branches. Functioning mainly as their marketing person, Gary eventually transitioned to Escrow Officer/Branch Manager. He moved to the central valley town of Visalia in 1976, subsequently relocating to Roseville in 1983 where he worked at Safeco Title as a Special Projects Escrow Officer.
During his tenure in the industry, Gary has handled all types of escrow transactions including residential sales, exchanges and business opportunity escrows. Relying on this wealth of experience, Gary began his commercial career in 1990 and has been with First American Title in Roseville since 1998, handling complex commercial and industrial transactions, specializing in large land and conservation easement acquisitions.
