Kat Van Steenhuyse began her commercial career in 1984. She is responsible for the management of the Walnut Creek East Bay Office. The department consists of 30 experienced employees that services transactions in all 50 States.
Kat began her career in 1977. For the next seven years Kat closed residential transactions in the Monterey and San Francisco Bay Area. In 1984 Kat came on board with First American's commercial group where she was promoted to senior escrow officer and responsible for all aspects of a commercial transaction. In 1990 Kat was promoted to assistant manager and in 2003 took on all managerial duties of the department. Kat has helped to develop one of the Bay Area's pre-eminent and largest escrow and title firms.
